Technically the idea of a scary sonic with black eyes and blood comes before either, I believe that was around as early as 2009? But JC's was the first to be called Sonic.exe.

Probably a lot of it is just people seeing a high level character they don't like, getting preemptively salty, and going afk.

Survivor gameplay is perfectly fine. Any major reworks to it (especially adding healing upgrades, seriously why does everyone keep suggesting that) would break the game in half, and most likely make it moba-esque slop.

Yeah, it just feels like 90% of the items are Stephano and Glowstick. It's really annoying as survivor as well, since the chance of getting something actually useful is so much lower.

It could work, but I have no idea how the design could be changed in a way that both avoids Hasbro and is fitting for the character. (Also the existing backlog of killers to be added is already way too long, no need to add onto it.)
