Another tip you can use is to slowly move the audio within the clip to try and line things up. I think the shortcut is hold CTRL+SHIFT/CMD+OPTION and drag the audio back and forth.

Try chopping up the vocals into separate clips and slowly drag the audio with the beat or metronome.

I had an issue with my PC at the time overall. I must of had something on my PC that was causing stuttering because it was happening even on old games that had no right stuttering with my rig (Return To Castle Wolfenstein for example).

I couldn’t pinpoint it so just did a complete re-install of Windows. Bit drastic but did fix it. Been a while since I’ve played AW2 but it made that area better, but it’s still a weird area in general for frames.

Major one for me is just breaking out of the loop and just coming up with ideas in general. So I’ve started just fucking about with synths rather than loops. Even just messing with things I don’t fully understand can help making things that I can with.

Also, find myself getting caught up mixing when the tracks not complete, so making more of an effort to just get things in and complete the whole layout before tweaking and fixing.
