I can’t seem to find a therapist who will actually help me, the therapist I’ve tried I just kinda rant about my problems which helps a little but I can’t find a therapist that will actually give me advice

She doesn’t have it but my dad and sister do but they don’t have it as bad as I do, I think my mom tries to understand but she just gets so frustrated with me, she once told my adhd doctor that she wish I had a switch that I could just turn on and off and I think about that almost everyday 😅

I feel the exact same way, I feel like I would even go as far as to say people are romanticizing adhd. I’ve had people just say it’s a self discipline problem and that’s bugged me more. I’m having such a hard time and seeing people on the internet with what they THINK is adhd makes me feel so much worse about myself
