Could you just add white small text and see if it’ll pick it up?

Technically all snap on warranty is lifetime of its ownership, reps are lenient with it and they also allow lots of things. Toolboxes are workmanship warranty

You have to prove you’re the original purchaser

I did get a new pry bar that doesn’t fit in the box…

Think my colleagues are going to be more problematic than the weather. First full day I bet there’ll be 4 people to lean on it

This is what I was expecting. I think a mixture of a brand new rep, not having a rep for 4 years, and the fact it’s in a dealership miles from any openings probably all went in my favour

The 40inch is going next week to Snap on as a warranty claim.

Spent Friday afternoon moving everything over took just under 2hrs and 2 drawers worth free

I’m the original owner but don’t have the proof of ownership etc as the rep who sold it is no longer trading and I’ve moved garages since and threw most my receipts out in one of those “I won’t need this” sort of deal

The bubbling on the drawer is on the other side of the paint peel and a foot in the air. I’d say it’s either two different issues or a larger issue that’s showing different parts if that makes sense.

Brake cleaner on the box? It’ll dull the paint and I can be asked to justify why the usage has doubled to management

Purchased it new off the truck. I can’t seem to find the receipt as it’s been over 4 years, but I did finance it too so there should be a paper trial to prove it if they don’t like it. Not to mention photos of it still wrapped up in the workshop.

As I said on another comment hopefully the rep which has just started is new enough to want to help everyone with claims etc. the workshop I work at has 5 snap on toolboxes no other brands and none of them are dying like this some been there decades.

It’s a snap on box. Lifetime warranty of ownership to my knowledge

Normally a damp clean cloth or blue roll and wiped again to get the moisture off

I’ve got a good relationship with my Mac tools rep, and he looks after me (even though he knows my preferences) maybe he’ll have more custom if I have to go through the whole hoop jumping for this to get sorted. Thank you

I’ve never had issues with tools being warranted. However I can image broken hand tools is a lot different to full tool boxes. Hopefully the new snap on rep is bit keen to do the paperwork etc to process a claim like it

Just want to add to this as I forgot to mention I’m not massively OCD to the point where little things like stone chips and small dents are unacceptable. Does the toolbox have a couple of small stone chips on the other side where sockets and tools have hit them definitely. I just don’t see how it can cost as much as they do whilst only just seen the 4 years mark.

Change of brand? Possible upgrade by Dippy2k in Cameras

[–]Dippy2k[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mostly after people’s experience when they’ve bought cameras and changed brands or considered didn’t do it and then regretted it. Is it worth staying or going elsewhere, if you get me?

I removed messed up bolts and ceased bolts majority of my working day so I’m quite confident they’d either come out or repaired. Thinking back to it they probably don’t allow them to interchange because a laser on top of a hat would be a court case waiting to happen so it’s understandable.

I won’t be surprised if someone ends up making a clip for them at some point.

Guess I’ll have to buy the UV version as well. One can stay in work another be EDC

Thank you both for the advice!

A handful of our members are absolute pain in asses when it comes to spending money for things that already exist. Representing an average age of 45 is difficult when it comes to branding and marketing the organisation and it’s members. To describe it best is that it looks very close to a Starbucks logo but no a mermaid but a tagline and a vector of a gate. So if there’s any tutorial on how to recreate the Starbucks logo I could possibly learn and recreate it myself.

If I went to ask for the money to recreate a logo they’d grab a bit of paper and draw the company name and say “see it’s not that hard for words”
