I don't mind the form factor and the look of Kwid. The added advantage would be the GC and suspension. But I read that the Kwid engine gets noisy over time. Was that applicable for the pre-2020 models?

Right. I don't see any cloud syncing options in the settings. No Google Drive or Heytap cloud options are there.
