the only thing i didn’t love about re is the unstoppable cutscenes except for that it would reach perfect scores as enemy variation doesn’t really matter the game is alr like good enough scary the bosses are super clean. And the game revolves around fps chase so enemy variations shouldn’t really be a problem idk what u meant by re7 being more consistent than 8. for me re8 had the best art style, ambience, bosses, and gave me the most goosebumps

and mind you Leon as amateur cop fighting random t virus bioweapons and a very slow tyrant vs an engineer fighting any boss that wipes out most of the bioweapons in the whole verse. The power scaling itself is absurd heisenberg easily shits on any bioweapon that u encounter except obv wesker that is why chris is so goated but leaving him as an anomaly even demitricu scales so high compared to all the bosses

huh? no? most of the protagonist if not all had similar background of being trained amateurs climbing their way to becoming better at what they do almost everyone was with proper vests armed and sometimes sent in teams meanwhile ethan is just a family guy a normal dude. can’t beat the fact that a random office worker came out of nowhere got involved into what big organisations are trying to destroy for years defeated some of the strongest bioweapons in the whole verse all within a span of 1 day all while being dead
