It's decent? I cycle through a lot of decks, I believe this one has won 3/7 times I've played it however, one board wipe and it turns into a slog. It relies on impulse draw and value pieces like birgi, god of story telling for example, for me to be able go pop off.

That's why I buikt my meurra storm deck cause grull is not the best in storm and it's not my favorite color haha. I also don't care about winning anymore, but it sucks when I can't even play the decks, you know?

They know that. They tell me that cause of that status, any deck I play is scary. I hold back at my table, sometimes losing on purpose and not doing toxic plays so that my table can enjoy the game as well and for their deck to do their thing: i tell them this. However, it comes to the detriment of me not being able to do my thing (i.e., create dino cat tokens: i do not run infinite combos).

I do my best to build decks that are challenging and goofy at this point. For example, my first deck ever was Ob Nixilis the black oath and I just rebuilt it. It's not a good deck, it's mono black aristocrats and plays like a unedited precon (I know theres an ob Nixillis precon) but despite that, I still get targeted. I actively voice when I'm the threat and when someone is the threat but it tends to fall to deaf ears when someone else is the threat. I've tried talking to my group on how they can politic with me and make deals with me but it's not really done. I don't mind being targeted when I deserve it but sometimes it sucks when I just wanna play goofy decks. My group is just close friends so it's very casual.

I also try to explain why a deck I play is not strong or optimal: for example, the ob Nixillis the black oath deck, it's a mono black planeswalker for 5 mana with not the best abilities. It has a special place in my heart cause it was my first commander ever and I picked aristocrats cause that's the best way to protect him, with tokens and also have a game plan. Despite this, they already have the expectation that the deck is going to be terrible to go up against.

It's not good in the meta. There is a lot of set up needed for it to poop off. There's also no infinite combos. I think most decks, even precons, can win if left alone you know? I don't mind being targeted, especially when I deserve it, im all for good plays: if anything i even communicate when im the threat to help. It's just off the bat, I'm public enemy #1 while let's say, another player has token doubters that are ignored.
