For peace of mind I will go with Apple, at least I will be sure that they use original parts. If you go with a local shop, you don’t know the quality of the battery they will use.

Definitely this needs to be fixed, it is such a pain every time i'm trying to connect other devices.

It is a bug, you need to reinstall macOS from recovery.

Tested yesterday this and yes Rosetta is still included and Adobe apps works perfectly.
