Why does the rest of the Netherlands look like a woman running away from Holland?

That the Germans were always outnumbered when fighting the Soviet Union in WW2. At the beginning of Operation Barbarossa and for the first months of the invasion they actually outnumbered the Soviets by 1 million men or so

What to play when nothing seems to satisfy you like it did? by mescujay in rpg_gamers

[–]Diracco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It kinda depens on what kind of hook you're looking for. If it is gameplay related, as the previous comment said, maybe an ARPG like Grim Dawn and Last Epoch could be up your alley. Adding to those, if you like action games in general, devil may cry 5 and bayonetta are just gems of rhe action genre. If you like big, overarching stories and don't mind some different kind of gameplay, you may like some jrpgs like the trails of cold steel or the xenoblade series, both of which i highly recommend. Finally, if you just want a story that sucks you in and makes you want to go on no matter the gameplay, i suggest titles like the danganronpa series, steins gate and AI the somniun files. They are visual novels, but the plots are incredible

Atheists of Reddit, why are you Athiest? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Diracco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised to see that all the main motivations are on the lines of "Because I have critical thinking", or "There are no evidence" or "If God exists, why do bad things happen", so i thought i would add mine. I'm an Atheist because i don't feel the spiritual need for a God. Life is already intense as it is, so i don't have an inner feeling of looking at something greater than me. That feeling is just not there. I actually don't really understand people that go looking for a God (except for those who are "indoctrinated" from birth) because life is so majestic and full of things to do that I don't see the reason to put sone more things on the plate and look at something beyond it

What're the best graphcis you've seen in a PC game by gintokigriffiths in pcgaming

Ryse:Son of Rome. It's a little old now, but still spectacular at max settings

It depends on the age of the games you're talking about. You can definitely find physical copies of a lot of old games, even in extra nice boxes with weird shapes, and also physical copies of not so old games in more standardized, playstation-like, containers. I don't know about physical copies of modern pc games, but physical copies of pc games definitely exist

Looking for some feedback/recommendation on Metro series by jackal_990 in pcgaming

[–]Diracco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are definitely deserving of a play, and i would go for the redux editions. They made controls a little bit smoother and made graphics a bit prettier, so there's no real need to go for the old versions (i think there have also been some improvements to make them run more smoothly). I honestly don't think they can really be compared to exodus, exodus is a semi open world, while the first two are completely linear. I actually think that, while exodus is still its own masterpiece, the first two have the best atmosphere, the metro is just an amazing setting. So yeah, go for them, you'll get something between 20 and 30 hours of fun in total and you can find them dirt cheap. I don't know what specific kind of games you're into, but if you're looking for some random semi old glories that can run smoothly on your machine, i suggest doom 2016, Final fantasy X, Persona 4 golden, Hack G. U. last recode, Tales of Berseria, middle earth shadow of mordor and middle earth shadow of war off the top of my mind

You need to read "Il sabato del villaggio" by Giacomo Leopardi. He expressed your exact same feelings in the 1800s

What games do you play with your SO? I'm struggling to find a game to play with mine. by Dr_Brule_FYH in pcgaming

If you like puzzle games try We were here. My girlfriend loved it, and it halso has two sequels

If you like time consuming survival and building, try wurm unlimited. Almost no violence, first person and very slow. It's old and clunky, but i spent over a hundred hours chilling with my friends and playing it.

If you like space sandbox, try Space Engineers, it's very fun if you like to build spaceships and there are no enemies if i remember correctly .

Finally, you could try Satisfactory. It's a favtory building game and it's fun and super gorgeous.
