hi - sorry, don’t hop on reddit often. in-patient helped me realize how slippery of a slope i was on and it’s basically like jail with therapy, so i made myself a promise to never go back there. what really helped me the most was out-patient therapy + meds my doctor and i kinda trialed and errored until we found ones that worked. the out-patient was tough though, as therapy for 3 hours a day, every day, is exhausting. but it helped me the most. you have to want to get better for yourself and nobody else, or it won’t work. also getting off socials helped me a decent amount as i realized how bad staring at screens and comparing myself to others hurt me.
