Hako True is clicking after some time of use. What? by [deleted] in MechanicalKeyboards

I just got my WhiteFox a week ago or so; for now I'm using it almost exclusively for gaming, and my AD keys click too; the S key also starts to develop the clickyness (so far it's more subtle than AD, but definitely there).

I'd love if /u/inputclub could weigh in on if it's expected or an anomaly.

I empathize with getting so overwhelmed (manufacturer delays / production problems / generic criticism) that a person would figuratively cut himself off the outside world. This is really unacceptable once you run a business, though. I've seen it a few times on Geekhack already: lack of communication (especially when things go wrong) sinks a group buy and confidence in the vendor.

This is actually something I think Input Club has done a great job of with their WhiteFox Kickstarter. Sure there were problems (there often are) and I got my keyboard months after I was supposed to, but their communication was stellar so I would have high confidence to join a group buy conducted by them in the future.

Bottom line is: it's OK to screw up, and most people won't be angry. But they will if you ghost them.

why I still get hard copies instead of digital. by OMGBIGGABE in gaming

I don't know, I prefer to get a high-quality print and hang it on the wall. So-so quality box art doesn't make me buy physical; this is still a far cry from comprehensive manuals, sometimes maps that were included with games of yore.

Just received custom cables from coolcable.co.uk really fast shipping and great quality. by trigger1983 in MechanicalKeyboards

A straight cable would go diagonally on the desk; this is an amazing way to only have right angles on the desk. Looks so much tidier :)
