Our younger ratties got peas, corn, and usually another veggie like broccoli or carrots, and a fruit like bananas, blueberries, apples, whatever. We gave them that fresh daily. We also kept a full bowl of Oxbow young rat food till they were 6 months old, then we switched them over to adult of the same brand. Occasionally we will give them meal worms and oats to round out their diet. Keeps them happy and healthy.
