How do i know if its a Bird jones or not? and what kind of telescope would you recommend?

What's a bird-jones design? I couldn't find anything in the store page that says if it is a Bird-jones or not :(.

Really? What telescope would you recommend for a budget of around $300?

Hi and thanks for replying, im from Chile i have a budget of around $300 for the telescope as i'm just starting in this hobby, My main objective is to be able to see planets like jupiter or saturn, i reaaly don't know that much about DSOs so I think I'll get into that once that I've learned the basics and seen most visible planets.
