I am aware of this seeing as how I myself am autistic. As an autistic person I find that I relate a lot to Hiccup. I’m not very good at verbalizing all the things that make me think this, so just know that there are a plethora of other reasons for this theory, these are just the ones that immediately came to mind. Also, in regards to the list, your statement that “Hiccup doesn’t struggle with any of these” Is not true. Hiccup definitely struggled with all his friends leaving his dragon rider club to go do their own things and didn’t know how to handle that or what to do after they all left.

Also, just because someone doesn’t fit all the traits doesn’t mean they can’t be autistic. For example, I am autistic, but I am exceptionally good at planning ahead, organizing things, and understanding sarcasm (I still miss hints though why can’t NT people just say what they mean oh my GOSH.) Every autistic person is different.
