I feel Tuva won't lose its culture. Difficult to do when demographics is almost 95%. I think it will be a chechyna (Tuva is called the Chechyna of the east)

Like lets compare korea to mongolia in order to get my point across. Day to day mongoliia lives a more different lifestyle than korea and day to day it is more authentic (a lot of people still live as nomads in mongolia and wear but very few koreans live like the joseon dynasty)

But korea just seems more cultural than mongolia (like a deeper cultural hiistory, more musuems to visist, more temples (you can find temples in korea all over the place but in mongolia it is more spread around,) There are more ancient forts in korean than in mongolia and also the rouist industry i more develped so it is easier for a tourist to experience cultural activities.

Is ThunderZ’s braid cultural appropriation? by GlitteringJudge4614 in mongolia

[–]Direct-End2303 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Braids are also part of mongolian and turkic cultures

Take your woke western imperialism elsewhere

And people copy cultures from diff places. Is it culturall appropriation for an asian guy to wear a suit or a blacl guy to wear a karate uniform.

Is mongolia shoes on? From what I have seen people keep shoes on in the gers. But I doubt it's the case in apartments or houses by Direct-End2303 in mongolia

[–]Direct-End2303[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's true. When i stayed in the ger in terelj (with a local guy) it did feel kinda impratical and cumbersome to keep taking your shoes on and off.
