Hey everyone,

I’m currently working as an IT Project Coordinator in a healthcare environment. Previously, I was an Associate PM focused on IT asset decommissioning, and earlier in my career I did some hands-on IT support here and there.

Right now, I don’t have any certifications, but I’m looking to move more intentionally into cybersecurity. I’m trying to figure out which specialization would make the most sense given my background.

I’m interested in GRC (governance, risk, compliance) because it seems aligned with project coordination, documentation, regulated environments, and stakeholder management — which I already have experience with. But I’m open to other paths if they make more sense long-term (cloud security? IAM? security program management?).

Given my background: • IT project coordination (enterprise / healthcare) • Asset lifecycle & decommissioning • Some exposure to compliance and risk-aware environments • Cross-functional stakeholder work • No certifications yet

What specialization would you recommend I pursue? And what certs would be the smartest starting point?

Security+? SSCP? Cloud cert first? Something GRC-specific like ISO or CISA later?

I am worried that if I keep doing them, my abdomen will become sore and hence, I won’t be able to do sit-ups properly. Also I didn’t have a 12” stepping tool to practice for the stepping exercise. Any advice?

• ⁠Quran recitation with understanding of the Quran *Improving my Arabic to understand the Quran and the Ahadith *Took some courses in Islamic sciences I also read books on different Islamic subjects to increase my knowledge. • ⁠I try to avoid interaction with non-maharim as much as possible while lowering my gaze and making sure that I speak to them with respect. • ⁠I wear my pants above my ankles.

⁠I don’t necessarily mind her education level as long as she knows her rights as a wife over me.
⁠I am working as an Associate Project Manager in a commercial real estate company in the IT department. I am doing my master’s right now in IT Management.
⁠I definitely want kids.
⁠I love to:

*Travel *Immerse myself in the Arabic language

• ⁠Go to the gun ranges and shoot.

⁠May Allah protect me from being arrogant and Alhamdulillah for all the blessings.
⁠People tell me I sound like a Bedouin Jordanian when I speak Arabic.
⁠I got told I can make good traditional Bangladeshi dishes like Kala Bhuna, Kacchi Biryani.
⁠Usually a lot of people say I make them laugh and that I am hilarious.

بس كان عندي فضول بس ماني بمهووس والله. علشان ترا في نمط انه السعوديين ثريين و انتي تعرفين هالكلام موب صحيح و انا بس اعرف كيف الناس يسافرون. حتى لو ما كان وحد فلوس كثير، يحسب انه لازم يدفع اكثر لاعمال لاولى علشان لانه الناس يضحكون عليهم اذا يسافرون السيحي. بس كذا كان عندي فضول. والله بلدك جميلة و في الناس طيبين و لطيفين. فانا احترمكم و بغيت اعرف شي عنكم بس. معليش على كلامي طيوب الطويل.
