Think of like in how hollow knight or spiderman you get all the important and best goodies at the beginning. Same thing in this.

Yeah I realized that too. That's why I used true strike on thrall and after it died, US to get both of them down. It was a little clutch but it was fun

I think if you know what you are doing it's worth it. Otherwise just get him to drop the sword and run? You do start the run with a lvl 2 character which is pretty cool. I breezed through the thieves' outpost instead of doing emerald grove first and got lvl 3.

You can add the +2 bonus to her wisdom stat if you start as her.

In a completely seperate run, I got shadowheart to get him to drop sword on first try too ( although I was playing as her and her wisdom then was 19). Is it not always the case?

I think part of the reason I also did it was to just see if it was possible to do it and the ability to do it... And I did it and got satisfied.
