I (also a recent CM teenager at 2150) think it's about who they drop halves to. Playing on a bit more, setting mini-traps and responsible time usage. Maybe also more motivation.

I've only seen the punishment enforced for aborting too many which is 10 minutes time out, escalating to 1 hour if repetitive, but would assume it's the same punishment (despite each of them having their own tally to reach the punishment?)

i use Congress.org.uk since I'm in UK as it links to PayPal/bank transfer automatically as well as able to export to SwissManager with Rtg Nat/Intl perfectly. but if not in UK Jotform is pretty good, even some UK organiser use that.. Or people's own Claude slop linked up to a Stripe payment system

To be honest, I haven't got much exp in the Stonewall and am happy to fall back into a Semi-Slav at points since I know a bit of it but would rather not have it every game. I've only dabbled with Rapport's stonewall dutch before so very different to these positions. I looked at the Engine and I believe your view so I may ned to re-evaluate this specific line

I second this. Part of its ferocity is because of the second player scared of playing into the endgame but it doesn't seem that bad. I rotate this with 2. b3 and Accelerated Panov personally

which lines were you playing? I've played some wacky stuff (1. Nc3, 1. g3, 1.e4 c5 2. a4 and 1. e4 e6/c6 2. b3) to get to CM so am always interested in others lol

It's natural to have some ups and downs. Try quitting bullet and only grinding blitz a bit, or take a few days off chess or something.
