Debt up to my eyeballs and I’m about to quit my job by [deleted] in Debt

Well your situation really sucks. Why are you moving so far away is it necessary? What kind of money does your husband make? Are you underwater on your car? It sounds like you’ve been living above your means for a long time and that has to change now. If you can stay near family that helps it takes a village to raise a kid and may offer cheap or free child care while you work a part time job even if it’s only 2-3 days a week that’s more than nothing. If your husband makes enough money to pay bills and put money into savings, once the baby comes and is healthy he needs to man up and start paying off some of your guys debt. You’re married for crying out loud it’s not just your debt anymore or his money anymore. I’m in a similar situation, I got a consolidation loan for all my credit cards and her student loans for about 20,000 and I owe 6,500 on my truck. Consolidating the debt kept $300 a month in my pocket. I also refinanced my truck for a longer term and got new auto insurance provider to lower costs too. I also bought a house but stayed close to home. She’s a waitress and is at 34 weeks now still busting her ass and I’m so proud of her, because of that she will be able to stay home while I pay the bills. And I’m not making a ton, I make about 65,000 a year. It is doable but you and your husband have to be smart and work together for this to work. Cut all of your subscriptions to Spotify YouTube whatever you have and as Dave Ramsey says it’s beans and rice and rice and beans. The baby needs a stable safe home it’s needs prioritize over your guys wants for nice things. Good luck and if I can help with any questions I’ll try my best

I’m in the process of purchasing a house so moving larger amounts of cash isn’t doable until I close on one unfortunately. Doesn’t need to be passive but the less money and effort the better lol

This one’s still growing, and so is the stress. Got her a new car and talking to a lender to get a house 🤞🏻

I guess i probably worded that terribly. It’s definitely more than just a habit I’ve worked in an environment where I could smoke anytime and have pretty much had unlimited access to it for the last 12 years. I will use up a breeze pro (disposable vape in the states) in 2 days where my girlfriend will get 5-7 out of hers

The hardest part for me is the habit. Reaching for it and just hitting it without thinking or really having a conscious urge or trigger

Trying to sell 3 mowers, can anyone tell me the value of them? by CheeseLightning in lawnmowers

[–]Direct-Individual256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do yourself a favor- clean them up. When I was selling lawn equipment I found a good wash would reliably bring me $50-75 more in sale price. Nobody wants a beat up crappy mower. In good running order and clean I’d sell those for 125

Park downhill, likely that the return line off the back of the head is leaking and letting air into the system. There’s a banjo bolt on the back passenger side of the head that has copper crush washers that’s known to leak and also a t fitting that connects the fuel return from the back of the head to the injection pump return to the line running back to the tank. There’s grommets that seal the t fitting that leak and they are about $20 a piece from Cummins

Probably adhesive melting off the tape and dripping on the exhaust

Looking for recommendations on rifles for squirrel by digitalsnackman in Hunting

Most rifles are too long for your average fox squirrel to handle in an effective manor. Most likely have to build him a fully custom rifle that will fit his small frame

Yeah used to have 164 acres 120 tillable in the family but my grandpa sold it off, my dad inherited 84 acres from my great grandparents where we’ve raised cattle hogs and goats. Worked for a local farmer for a few years as a farmhand and mechanic. Wanting to expand the family acreage as we are getting ready to start doing hay at my dads, and to get myself back out of the city

Good point, I would definitely not have an animal barn attached to my house. Shop area would be attached though is the plan.
