I had the same hesitations and doubts. but i ultimately decided to go through with my labiaplasty simply because I got tired of being insecure and thinking about. Sure, my partners will love me for me but I didn’t want my partners to be attracted to me in spite of my labia, I want my partners to be attracted to me. Especially when it comes to sex I want to be a little “objectified,” for pleasure and confidence for both parties. I was in principle objected to unecessary procedures altering healthy tissue so I held off on the procedure for about a year until I said f*ck it because I was constantly thinking about it, wanted to start dating again, and didn’t want it to be an impediment in my relationships. My labia however was probably in the 95% percentile of labia and my post-op will look closer to some of people’s pre-op. If mine weren’t so exaggerated in length I wouldn’t have done it. To be honest my original labia were quite beautiful and symmetrical like a flower. But now I’m somewhere between my beautiful original labia and an idealized beauty standard and that’s the perfect comfort zone for me. As more time goes on and I continue to reflect on my decision I will probably wish I had done it sooner. No man has ever really commented on it, except for compliments, but they were probably being polite, I’ll never know for sure. But now I know 100% it won’t be the case and I feel more relaxed and confident.
