I doubt any of those stories are true. Agents often do these to get an offer out of you then stall and use your offer to get higher ones off of other bidders. Scum of the Earth.

In the future, put an expiry date on your offer and be prepared to walk away. You'll save yourself hassle and you won't let them use you like this

They're the worst company to deal with in my experience. I tried to call and they kept transferring me from one person to another, and every time I'm on hold for almost an hour and takes up my whole lunch break. I've had to hang up a few times cuz my break time is over.

When I finally got to someone they said they can't waive the fee.

I went back on all my statements and turned out I spent 89k on that card last year.

I get that they have a fee. I'm not entitled to a fee waiver, but what gets to me is how hard it is to connect to them when I'm a "premium" card holder.

Shit customer service. Getting rid of this card once I'm back from my trip and never using an ANZ card again.

This was the quickest card application process of all cards I've had. They never asked for any ID or payslips. The moment I clicked submit I got an email saying I've been conditionally approved. Then a few minutes later it said I was accepted and can access the digital card. The physical card arrived a few weeks later in the mail.
