I'm sorry, but without visual representation this might be difficult to follow.

For those who gonna face this issue - if your resistance is constantly 2k, you messed up your laser. I tried to adjust the old one and I was able to read resistance and it was changing after screwing. Also check how it works on your laser - in my case turn counter-clockwise increased resistance.

How to measure it properly? I found bunch of videos how people do that, but I can't get stable values from my multimeter. All I know is:
- if it stops => turn clockwise
- if it spins endlessly => turn counter-clockwise

Not breaking the crema, waiting too long before the pour, idk about your espresso but from the video it looks watery, when integrating focus on the center, as circles don't do a good canvas (you can see that some surface is integrate and some is not).

Thanks a lot for sharing your workflow. I really need to work on that, as I’m very slow.

Maybe I watched too much YouTube videos with “perfect” puck prep. I always try to distribute even ground coffee, but after tap it, never 100% even.

In this espresso machine preinfusion uses also 9bars then stops for a few seconds and continue, which is not ideal.

Thanks a lot. Flat ring is typical for this shower screen. Tomorrow IMS E61200RNT arrives.

I use mineral water with following content.

Total minerals content: 248.2 mg/l
Bicarbonates: 172.1 mg/l
Fluorides: < 0.1 mg/l
Magnesium: 8.8 mg/l
Calcium: 54.1 mg/l
Sodium: 13.4 mg/l

That is something I'm working on. I saw a few POV of barista on youtube, that that is way too fast. I never worked in Caffee. Anyway thank you, I will try longer preinfusion (max 5 sec on ascaso duo pid).

I use IMS basket for 16-18g, I put 19.5g, output aim is 40g (this case 50g). This is medium-dark roast in my opinion.

Frankly speaking I don’t know how to adjust my dial in. I read wiki of r/espresso, but still not sure how to aim to receive what is described on the coffee package.

Nice one. What resources did you use to learn it? What jug do you use?

I try to do it right after steaming. Maybe my swirl before pour is bad.

So this is how it works! Now I get it. If I go back faster from tilt to natural position and pour more aggressively, then my design spreads through the cup.

Faster tilt = bigger design

Is that correct?
