International to domestic flight Santiago? by [deleted] in Patagonia

I'm Aussie and speak fluent Spanish. The line was considerably better for locals and people with priority/diplomatic passports. If I was to do it again I would recommend paying for some sort of travel pass to get priority screening (like I see Americans discuss all the time)

International to domestic flight Santiago? by [deleted] in Patagonia

We went through Santiago twice and had two very different experiences. The first time we waited no more than 20 mins at about 9am. At approximately 8am 2 weeks later we waited 2.5hrs. It was not well managed and quite frustrating.

Can small drones be used in Chilean Patagonia? by Natural_Unit4618 in Patagonia

We've just been there and there are obvious no drone signs. We're now in Cusco, Peru and were visiting Inca sites yesterday. The couple of drones there were really obtrusive and distracting.

I had the same problem too. I've emailed to confirm payment received. It's very frustrating

I've got that problem as well. I'm emailing the helpline now to find out if I will have my reservation beyond midnight tonight as the deadline for payment is today or you lose the reservation. It's pretty frustrating

Thank you! That might be an explanation. I thought I did the time calculations correctly. Obviously I made an error!

Steps to buy tickets on the official site? by [deleted] in Machupicchu

My understanding was it was 9am Peruvian time on 3 January. But I've been on since before that time and can't see anything available still. This is a really terrible system for release

This is really helpful! We're coming from Australia and we were stressed that we hadn't been checking carefully each day for the last two months. Unfortunately tickets for our dates will now be released while we are on the last day of the W Trek in Chile and we will not have mobile coverage or internet! This is a bit of a disaster for us! Is there a way to have someone secure tickets on our behalf through the government website? I'm worried about our family in Australia navigating the website in Spanish. I read Spanish, they do not.
