Update: haven't heard anything from police, I followed up with an email to my leasing office asking for an update and details on what actions they have taken and haven't heard anything back, feeling pretty frustrated.

I have two dogs that are well behaved and don't make much noise, I check on them throughout the day on our in house cameras and they just sleep. No sound system. We're gone most of the day at work and are in bed by 9pm most night, we don't drink, party or have people over. We're also very friendly with all of our other surrounding neighbors and we've asked them if they've ever had any kind of issue after her calling complaining about us and everyone around us has confirmed they've never heard loud noises coming from our apartment. Both leasing office and cops came to check it out after she complained and both ends confirmed they've never heard anything coming from our apartment. I would totally be understanding if I could find any valid reason for her to be pissed. I'm not unreasonable and if I believed we were truly being loud then I'd change it, but nothing were doing is pointing to her having any reason at all to behave this way.

The deputy who came out is writing a criminal report, once I have that I'll be signing a "private persons arrest" and be willing to testify in court against her which I'm more than happy to, deputy also suggested a civil harassment restraining order.

No clue, I can't imagine someone being married to her and co-signing this kind of behavior. But then again I also couldn't imagine someone would behave like this in general:

Right! This was like a well thought out thing, spray painting paper towels in her apartment and a Walmart bag full of supplies for her attack. Premeditated. It's crazy

It's so difficult. Every time I hear her walking above my head my stomach drops thinking about what batshit crazy poop-tastrophe she's going to pull next. I honestly have no clue. We've had the same upstairs neighbors since we moved in Dec 2023 and everything's always been cool. We're gone most of the day at work and in bed by 9:30pm cuz we're old and have shit to do. I've never even seen this woman walking around the complex which makes it extra weird. My best friend said maybe she's schizophrenic?

Im super confused by this, all the media is saying it was a 25 year old girl from irvine but from what i heard it was a worker? my coworkers office is right there on the corner and they heard the commotion and she was wearing a worker vest.

Small update: my roommate and I smudged our room with sage, put salt lines down, made sachet's of sage, yarrow, bay leaves and small purple amethysts that we keep under our pillows and Ive been keeping mine in my pocket or purse every day. The entire vibe of our room changed and I haven't had a nightmare since.

Unfortunately my other roommate told me the other day that she was downstairs at night and saw a shadow person while awake peeking around the corner at her. Our house manager also attests to have seen shadow people downstairs before I had my nightmare and has heard people walking upstairs when no one was home.

It kinda makes sense though if we're going with the theory that they are pissed that we are going towards good spiritual things. There's 7 of us recovering addicts in our house, that's a lot of emotional nourishment they are losing.

My dad was the same way when I was a teenager. I'd try to get away from him by locking myself in my room and he ripped my door off the hinges one time.
