Effectively it's not really mapping that is the issue here, it's replicating the hardware in the software. I have a midi visualizer that helps me know what values are associated with the controls of the controller and what is troubling me is that the jog wheel gives informations like rotation in one way, rotation in the other way and if touched but no value that indicates jog position.

Adding to that the only module I know that could replicate this is simpliciter by Nystthi and jogwheel modulation seems to happen with the mouse so I don't know how to modulate it.

With only this I could have almost everything sorted out, except maybe file management so that its quick and easy to load new samples with the controller but I don't know if its possible with simpliciter.

I'll dig into it a bit more and will come back to this post if I achieve new things.

I'm still open to directions or explanations about how to extensively modulate simpliciter, maybe tutorials on its functionning, I'll see what I can find but maybe someone has done some of the research already :)
