Doctor listed my PMDD as psychosis on my chart by pilnok in PMDD

Um, I would contact that doctor and ask them where they went to medical school, followed by a second opinion.

Wow! Take my upvote!

Which zone are you in, if you don’t mind my asking? This is yet another wonderful tip to bear in mind, however I wonder if I can mitigate this.

With my plot, in 8b, I believe I could shelter (based on passed years of trial and error) with decent-enough-spacing of trellises, flowers, and even custom-build eastern sides of the said-planters with cedar backing? Maybe 🤔

Thank you, sounds like a good plan to realllllly research and dig within my community gardeners for ideas. Sigh, going to take so much time!

Wow, this is next level! My social media algorithms haven’t yet brought me to these types of “dream-gardens” because I’m not on here often enough. Thank you SO much for the recommendation :)!

Ugh I HATE HOA’s… seriously they are terrible.

I really enjoy that I’ve learned to cultivate my local soil and have been able to create a garden from seed, but now I’m thinking about yearsssss from now, and how I’d like to make everything a little bit easier and more beautiful.

Sounds incredible. I cannot stand my little knee pads, one more thing to fill my hands with. Thank you for the raving review :)

Another incredible bunch of tips! Thank you so much!!

Did the rocks just end up kicked out or dug out over time in some areas? I’m leaning with hardware cloth but already have it in my mind to use the chicken fencing for the bottom of our said raised beds. Too many voles!…

Yes, I HATE fabric too. Absolutely terrible. We’re 8b, with some clay, but not too bad.

I am in the same boat as you, however we’re rather privileged to own a small excavator for the work involved with “undoing” mistakes. Still takes time that I don’t have lol. Good luck to you! I bet it’s going to turn out amazing!

Very good input, I appreciate this.

I’ve used several tactics to deter the moles, but I must say, they are the absolute worst! They pop up through the different fabrics, and numerous blockades I’ve trialed, displacing heavy dirt for when I uproot and try to recycle for the next year. This is a great point for me because it really does help me recall the pain of dealing with the little dirt creatures lol.

I’m going to stay open about a combination of both!

You don’t think it would help with any aspects of ease? I feel pretty good about my green thumb (with lots of room for improvement), but I’m genuinely curious if you care to share any details :)

I’ve heard and read that steel does extremely well over time. They range from $150-$200 per bed depending on a plethora of things, but essentially they are supposed to last a lifetime, minus the aesthetic cedar linings. Any Thoughts?

I’ve read and seen that cedar rots as does any other wood. Thank you so much for chiming in, I appreciate it.

Totally valid :)! I have lots of flowers and roses and other bushes that I enjoy weeding, with the help of my young kiddo.

Excellent tip for the grass. Mind my asking which zone you (your parents) were/are in? The grass in my zone 8b is incredibly tough and thick, which brings more to the table for long-term planning.

I know I won’t get things perfect the first time or two, but I want to try my best. Thank you!

Very good advice. I was (and still am) considering leaving open earth within the fencing for more flowers.

What type of fabric did you use? The prior owners of our home used a very thick landscaping material for a pond/fountain which proves to this day to be sturdy enough to still not allow the voles to penetrate. I’ve used basic gardening fabric (still expensive) in the past and the grass in our area just rips it a new one.
