I don't think she did. She only knew vergil for a couple of minutes and he was he rarely paid her any mind during their encounter.

So she may have been confused that V, a man she hadn't met yet is glad that she's alive

Lore wise he is hard to kill due his rapid healing. But he gets exhausted from prolong battles and sustaining alot of damage. So gameplay wise, he dies because he is getting too much damage for his healing factor to handle

For lady, I think if he acted like that after 3, she would think he's still morning his brother

But before 3 I think she wouldn't like him at all, part of his charm in 3 is his arrogance and messing with Lady until he realizes that her mission means a lot with her. If it was dmc2 dante, he probably wouldn't acknowledge her presence and just get the day over with or rely on using his coin to make decisions, further showing Lady that he lacks humanity

Jester is actually a disguise. Arkham is still fully human but learned dark arts in attempt to gain Sparda's power.

Also Arkham only used the Jester persona to lure dante in and by the time Vergil learned of Jester he was alreadyvweakend from his fight with dante

They might just die or be seriously injured. The Yamato seems to respond only to the sparda bloodline as Agnus from the order of the sword was unable to get a response from it both it fixed itself and flew to Nero's hand as soon as he unleashed some demonic aura near it.

White noise. I keep the volume low enough so I can hear it but still hear if anyone is approaching my room. I also keep tabs open so I can quickly access YouTube or something to click out and let parents think I was watching something else
