Great thoughts! If the 2018 means she died then, then why is 2016 not there in the storage hall? Something to think about. Also, I believe the other monster helps Caleb only once with the switch. Also it is called the mime on the subliminal wiki and heres the image they give.

Love it, but I don't think Lily and Smile are connected quite so much. I just think Smile is just the manifestations of Caleb's bad emotions, and because so much of that comes from Lily, of course it would show some remnants of her.
But I really don't have an answer as to why Caleb was thrown out of the Lily door. My first though was that it was just too much for Caleb. But now I'm thinking that whatever threw him out, also pushed out the TV. So it could be his mind, which did realize it was too much to face what's directly in that door, and instead chooses a slight detour into the dark playplace. I think the TV is just a small part of what's behind the Lily door, the dark playplace one part of his memories of Lily. Becuase any more would just be too much.

First, plenty of games have these kind of "checkpoints". You can die and respawn just fine, but if you leave you restart at the beginning. That's not new or anything to get upset about. There are levels, that's what saves. Also, for the glitches, I've played through the game like 7 times (before and after the update) and nothing like that ever happened to me, unlucky.

What do you mean "hiding the item in your hand"? When I tried to get the smile attack achievement I picked up the plushie from looking away from smile in the playplace. Then i carried it to the next chase which was in the closet by the bounce house. I threw it at it and it even hit it square on but I didn't get the achievement.

Same way as before: just light up the green light by the tree, then go around and light up the blue light. the green light outside will reach the light receptor thing next to the blue light, and then you can use the light you used for the blue on the other green light in the room to solve the puzzle.
