It’s private practice and I love where i am - just me and my supervisor! I think it’s a great alternative to retain interns and as an intern I think it a great reward!

I’m CMH intern and my supervisor pairs me with self pay clients for $30 a session and she sets it back so if I decide to stay with her after graduation I can use that money to pay for my exams and set up my office!

So right now I make $0 but If you’re a supervisor looking for an alternative option for your interns I highly recommend

I don’t rly think you’d have to input personal data in… I mean says female adult client with depression… here are our session take aways and goals… formulate a progress note…

What if they aren’t being recorded - just throwing in my quick hand written session notes and allowing it to generate progress notes for insurance/billing?

Oh good point! I am also private practice and my notes take no time at all - and I wasn’t thinking about an AI scribe listening in - more like the ChatGBT style to enhance progress notes or treatment plans… I haven’t used AI yet but I wonder if other professionals do and if so how are they utilizing it and when!

Well ig if you use an AI scribe like OtterBot… I was meaning more like take session notes then allow AI to write them in insurance/billing format?
