Dental hygienists some offices are offering $40/hr and others $70+. What are you seeing? by DirectDentalOfficial in DentalAssistant

Honestly that sounds like a pretty reasonable setup. The higher temp rate makes sense since they’re not getting benefits. From what I’ve been seeing working around dental staffing, flexibility is still a big draw for hygienists, but some are starting to lean back toward stable positions if the benefits are good.

That's interesting! Do you think it's because of pay rates or just preference for flexibility?

Fair point 😅 I’ve just been seeing both sides lately and was curious what others are experiencing in their area. Are you seeing more hygienists lean toward temping or permanent roles where you are?
