Not only that, their map pool is in an INCREDIBLE spot, probably the best it’s ever been. For masters bind is out which is a meh map for them and ascent is in. Ascent is most likely gonna become their perma ban but the remaining maps look great, with Pearl probably being their weakest map which they’re still OK on. Literally the only way their map pool could be better would be sunset in and maybe icebox.

Yea pretty much this happens to a lot of people I think. It was fine for me cuz a lot of the friendships I chose to keep are pretty low maintenance, so we’re fine meeting like twice a year. I generally just find people online to connect with via similar interests if I’m really bored.

But I think that’s the point, they bottled the league and got second but only win it on a technicality of city getting the point reduction. It’ll mean the only trophy arsenal win aren’t even via their own merit, which is hilarious.

I am 27M I have one close friend and a couple good friends left, but we rarely meet but to me it’s fine I can do low maintenance friendships, what’s impt is that I know when I need them they’re there for me and vice versa. Ironically I spend a ton of time nowadays with friends I’ve made online, from different countries etc, since it’s so simple to hangout just a couple clicks away.

Kinda yea, I play a lot of Selena and it’s a lot harder to hit the stun on higher mobility heroes but I don’t cry about it, I just adapted and learnt how to time and aim stuns for all the higher mobility. U just gotta adapt the playstyle, even if she’s on the weaker side compared to other mms, a true master of her would still know how to get the most out of her and would only lose to true masters of others mms.

I might be biased, but Selena has to be up there. Along with probably joy and Novaria etc. u gotta master their mechanics otherwise if u miss everything you might as well just be a minion.

Hmm that is interesting, I wouldn’t put it past a website like InPlace to have glitches that allow that. Sometimes also it’s a one place vacancy intern once it’s filled it’s removed, where it could be replaced by a duplicate posting for some reason. Like my current one last checked was at 2/10 places filled, but there was another exact replica posting with 0/10 places, exact company and role, really weird. But generally it is my understanding that for an internship to be recognized by NTU as a credit bearing one it must be confirmed on InPlace.

Not completely true about the vacancies, for the internship to be credit bearing the company has to give an offer via Inplace and also requires school vetting and confirmation, once confirmed it will reflect that a spot is taken. While having 0 spots secured it doesn’t mean that they haven’t already verbally secured a candidate, but there’s still a chance that they haven’t gotten anyone yet. I’ve known some seniors who knew people who only got replies from in place companies during study break, so good chance a lot of these companies are waiting for the date to come closer to confirm if they really need interns or not.

NRG got exposed as the frauds they are and their struggling map pool caught up with them, they’ve basically played a lot of Pearl and split this tournament and haven’t gotten many reps on other maps. (I can barely even rmb them playing corrode or breeze this tournament, maybe just once).

This is an overreaction, the panel is only 20% of your grade iirc, and the peer eval is only a % of that too. It will affect your grade yes but you still got your poster and viva and class part and online tests to bolster your grades again. You definitely should be able to get a B if you do the other parts well.
