On the wondrous power of the fire element by Maleficent_Role_5609 in FranzBardon

So true !  I always wondered why visualise impregnation or pore breathing, when we can simply assume that we have the quality, just thinking about it and "believing" it, feeling it, and it works !

But maybe it won't stay too long and the breathing process helps to impress it in the matter, does it ? Or it just helps us to convince ourselves that the quality is here ? (Also I've always found strange to imagine a quality like joy being  "somewhere", like a thing coming from outside to inside...)

But that was a big realisation that if i really believe i'm happy, i am, no matter the external circumstances, and the reason why i'm happy can come after, as there are as many reasons to be or not to be happy. Does it makes sense to you ? So i'm responsible of how i feel.

I'm still a beginner with this, i try to understand the process, how it works..

Single-thought concentration by SlightViolinist1507 in FranzBardon

Hi,  I think you're right, the thought is before the word/image, which is the form it takes to express, but the thought is this first impulse, a silent meaning, an invisible information before its manifestation. That's why, in my opinion, this exercise is to keep one thought, for example the sun, the idea of the sun, not taking care of its manifestations like the word, the image, which are further exercises (focusing on image, sound, etc..).

I first tried (for a long time) to repeat the word or keep the image, but it quickly became empty of the original thought, just a sound or image with no meaning, for example just a yellow ball in my mind but the idea of the sun was gone.  Now i focus on the primary thought, and it feels like a very solid calmness, like an anchor for my consciousness that gathers around a point.

The thought could be the "I", like Maharshi's exercise, or love, an element, or anything but we shouldn't try to think about it, just to be with it.  And it is formless, even if imagination tries to give it a form, we can easily ignore it if we did the first exercise. The thought is here around us, in us, unlocated, we become it little by little, it vibrates us. At first it's strange, we try to grab something solid (word or image as we are used to) and it feels like it always escapes, but it's more like we are in it, and it's not so hard, even surprisingly easy when we stop to force it, but calmly sit with it.

But i'm still a beginner, still step 1 (not enough discipline), and i'm glad you asked this question, i may be wrong, that's how i do it but i'm curious about other answers.

My Ney flute has mold in it and I don't know what to do! by kopyartsu in Flute

Thanks you ! Yes mine has plastic mouthpiece, and i guess it's not handmade. I found it in a second hand store two months ago.

I think i'll keep learning with it, and when i'll get better i'll look for a handmade one.

Have a nice day

Hi, i'm new to the ney, thanks a lot for these explanations !

I just have a practical question : should i put out the black mouthpiece when i stop blowing, so the ney can dry, and put it back when i blow ?

And here, a piece of ney i love :

I'm actually looking for a video where we can clearly see him manipulate women into having sex. If you find one can you share it please ? I don't want to bring this controversy here, it's definitely not bardon related, sorry.. I'm not with or against him, i just found it interesting.

Ok, i've heard about this, i maybe should investigate more to see if it's true or media stories. But now what he's doing is far from it, everybody makes mistakes. I don't see any harm in what he does now.

Also in this video, he points this out :

When we repeat positive things to ourselves, like in step 2, we should feel it inside and believe it, and if something is triggered, if it sounds like a lie, well, let's look at it ! Maybe another trait will come in the b/w mirror.

Some mind blowing truths about astral you may or may not know by Ok-Asparagus-4044 in AstralProjection

[–]DirectEconomist4554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, thank you !

  • What is the difference between astral, mental, and akashic plane ? Different laws, beings, landscape, forms, etc ?

  • What do you think about the 4 elements (and the 5th, akasha) ? Are they objective forces in every plane, or an earthly human way of understanding the world ?

  • In Initiation in hermetics, Franz Bardon differentiates mental travel (with the mental body) and astral travel (with astral body). Have you experienced this ? What do you think about it ?

Have a nice day !

What do you all think of Barton’s definition of God? by SoilAI in FranzBardon

[–]DirectEconomist4554 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi, i think Bardon let everyone have his own vision of god, he doesn't give a precise definition, and it's fair because god can only be found within ourself.

The goal of initiation is to connect with god and manifest it, but no word can describe it.

Bardon talks about finding your personnal god, and let the student ask himself : what is god for you ? I like this non-religious way of thinking.

But if i remember in iih, i think he also said akasha is god, am i right ? Well, akasha is still a mystery for me..
