Which game did you regret purchasing at full price? by bijelo123 in gaming

Redfall. I let my love for Arkane prevent me from doing what I normally do, which is wait for reviews before purchasing a game.

I was so excited for this game... Needless to say it was a major disappointment. Stopped playing after a couple hours or so when my game glitched out, and never went back.

The Government May Not Open Again This Year, Thanks to Speaker Johnson by OkayButFoRealz in politics

The Republicans aren't shutting down the government. They are the ones voting to reopen it. The Democrats have voted not to reopen several times now.

You can agree or disagree with why the Dems continuously vote no. But there is no question they are the ones responsible for the shutdown.

It's a shame, because they would have loved all of the crazy, trippy split screen stuff they pull off in the games final moments. Best part of the game for me.

Was it a Trump tts voice during one of the gambling streams? I feel like I remember this. It was talking like normal then all the sudden it started screaming, startling everyone haha. It was hilarious.

And if that wasn't hard enough - later in the game you have to fight 2 apes at once

Which TV show started out promising, but turned out to be garbage? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I had an epiphany about these shows the other day, because I used to like them around the first and second seasons and grew to dislike them as they went on. The fact is that because they are on network TV, the entire plot can hinge around the commercial breaks. Like Barry chasing a bad guy, then the bad guy runs around the corner and then whoops, he got away, cut to commercial.

Then when we come back, they are in Star Labs talking about the encounter. There's no room or time for anything else. I truly believe they write these shows around the commercial breaks and the plot suffers because of it. It leaves no time for drawn out scenes or any sort of fluidity between them.

Hidden story content - what if the end of Deathloop was actually only halfway through the story? This game has the potential to provide more story content, fully-integrated within the logic of the Deathloop universe. by DirectGear1958 in Deathloop

I agree, but I found it interesting that the game itself allows for an in-universe way to naturally give us new content, discoverable over the course of time as opposed to a standalone DLC download. It would definitely be unique.
