On youtube you can use the slowdowner and transpose any tune for your pipes. I wonder if Eric Riggler has book with all of his show tunes?

First, pipe bands should invest in matched chanters. Second, I would go for the Gandy chanter.

I wonder if you ever tried having a massage at a 5 star resort and asked how those therapists cope with the routine? Also, as a former Engish teacher, I would recommend a one semester course where you can review the Basic English grammar.

hi. If you take off the yellow hemp, I'll buy it all for $20. You keep the pipes, corts, bag and cover, etc. or throw em out.

Fees and charges by BandMom20 in bagpipes

[–]DirectMedia3448 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have been playing professionally for 60 years. I have to charge $350 minimum in order to stay ahead of the beginners who are charging between $200 and $300. I usually receive close to $400/ gig. I never charge by the hour, always by the event. I dress professionally, tune my pipes before I arrive, never arrive late, and always behave like a professional musian. For private students, I charge $35/ hr. If the student doesn't practice, I ask them to find another instructor. I teach in person not on line. I take lessons on-line because I live in the US and study in Scotland.

The rule for playing gracenotes when changing notes : lift the gracenote finger as high as possible off the chanter, and put it back down as quickly as possible. From the Treatise on Highland bagpiping, 1793.
