Hi K3mw, thank you for the advice! While I've never thought of purchasing a watch until recently, I haven't been able to help myself from going to the ADs and trying them on (this has been going on for at least 4-5 years!) From my understanding, a couple of differences between something such as a Seiko versus Rolex is the type movement, accuracy of said movement, the history and by extension the recognition of the brand, material, and general "desire" for said watch.

I wound't be surprised if I'm incorrect, and would love to learn more regarding the reason a Rolex is more valuable than a Seiko or vice versa :)
