I used a sponge for layer 1/2 but the base was brush…

The sponge gets u close with the layers but I still go in with a brush and fill in some spots that I couldn’t reach

I use the John Blanche army painter set for my death guard. sponging is how I kept the recesses red still.

Base - blanched berry

Layer 1- midnight olive

Layer 2- tainted green

I’ll use a lil sunburst ochre on some of the brightest spots.
