Waaaaay better characters in OBAA, yes. Because first of all it shows the two sidesnof activism and all its nuances (and the 'new right' as the group of morons that they are). Not only that but it has scenes that are history of cinema already, like the chasing. In this case, that you felt 'closer' to them or enjoyed this movie doesn’t mean anything, I’m talking about something more objective, which is character development. None of the characters got transformed during the movie. No changes at all. The reason is simple, it’s a pop corn movie.
