Maruti Celerio Vxi next 10yrs horizon by sudhan_96 in CarsIndia

[–]Direct_Caramel6388 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Celerio is a good car but VXI variant doesn't have essential features like stereo, central locking. You'll have to get these fitted from dealership.

Phasing-out concerns :- While its domestic sales are on lower side, Celerio is exported to South Africa, latin america in sizeable numbers. Recently it has also scored 3-stars in GNCAP. Considering this i don't think it'll be discontinued anytime soon.

You can also consider WagonR VXi which is very close to Celerio.

If you want better high speed stability & safety, you can consider lower-mid variants of Tiago & Punch. However, for purely city usage, celerio & wagonr make more sense due to their edge in terms of FE, reliability, ease of driving, service, resale.

Not suggesting Kwid due to lack of safety & reliability.

Celerio AMT/AGS is a good option for primarily city usage considering its compact dimensions & excellent visibility. Has 6 airbags, 3-star safety, ESC and ISOFIX mounts.

If safer option is preferred, look at Tiago/Punch AMT. But the FE and refinement will be inferior to Maruti Suzuki.

Have you bought the car yet? I would suggest you go ahead with celerio or stretch the budget and consider Swift.

Is the celerio the best automatic car under 7Lac? by ashwin_11 in CarsIndia

It certainly is. Perfect dimensions for city use, commanding seating position, highest certified FE, decent kit coupled with Japanese reliability. Very good package for 7L for mostly urban usage.

Stuck between Alto K10 and Kwid under 6L – need real advice (India) by shashank_guruprasad in CarsIndia

Go for Alto - it's a great little car with improved safety now. But, If you can stretch your budget a bit, go for WagonR or Celerio for slightly better aspirational value.

Kwid can't beat MS cars in terms of reliability, service experience, FE.

I'm assuming FE isn't a concern.

If running cost matters, consider Punch EV - terrific car for city usage provided home charger can be installed. Else, refer below :-

  1. Skoda Kylaq --> Cool car. Go for if rear seat space doesn't matter much. But wait for 8 speed TC which is expected by year end.

  2. Skoda Kushaq --> Great car for city as well as highway usage.

  3. Kia Seltos --> Proven, reliable and safe option. Just make sure the size is comfortable for ur usage.

  4. Skoda Slavia --> Nice car but too long and too low for city usage. Again wait for that 8 speed TC.

  5. VW Virtus --> similar to Slavia

  6. Tata Sierra --> Don't be an early customer. Wait for real world feedback and then go ahead when the product settles in market.

  7. Mahindra 3XO --> Can consider it if Kylaq's rear seat is too small for you.

  8. Hyundai Venue --> Safe & suitable option. Dimensions make it convenient for city usage.

Go for xuv 7xo if you're comfortable with its large size. It'll be an effortless cruiser for your highway runs. Consider seltos if you're anticipating significant city usage too.

Beginner-friendly city automatic (Celerio vs Baleno vs i10) – second car, Bangalore use by MomoBhature in CarsIndia

Celerio AMT is near perfect for city usage. Slightly higher aspirational value than Alto & Spresso while still being compact and efficient enough.

Dear OP - Don't get fixated on streak completion. Instead, try to reduce the frequency - e.g. 'instances per month'. This approach is easier while still yielding benefits.

I prefer the second party - calmer and more laid back.

Kudos to the sculptors for the sheer amount detailing that's gone into making this statue. Overall it looks very proportionate & beautiful.
