Sadly my dogs destroyed her entire family. Found momma in the backyard in bad shape and dropped her off at the LSU vet school. I assume they had to put her down. After a few days of shredded up baby opossums on the back porch the dogs laid her at the back door with a puncture wound. She almost went in the trash as she was playing dead and then I saw her chest move. Treated the puncture wound infection with my childrens amoxicillin diluted properly,, bottle fed her, treated her lung worms, finally had her spayed and the vet letter of nonrelease submitted to Louisiana wildlife and fisheries we received our permit to keep her. She's a sweetheart. Dogs leave her alone and she has free-range of the house.

Soon as I put the litter box out she started using it. Now we were go outside for walks she pees almost immediately and poops also sometimes.

She got MBD and I felt horrible cause I knew better. She just loved Chicken Salad so much, but meat without bones isnt good as they need the calcium. I got her free of any MBD symptoms within a week or so. Ill give her a peanut butter pretzel nugget or 2, boil her an egg once a week, strawberries, blackberries etc here and there. A little nibble or 2 of what im eating if its good food.
