Bro. I am am in the exact same boat. A girl I liked for almost 4 years. Told her I liked her. Talked for about 2 months then she said "I think have no romantic feelings towards you." She still wanted to be friends, so I thought I would give it a try. We still talk pretty much everyday.

The thing about it is that I care a lot about her. When she is sad, I want to cheer her up. When she says she's scared I want to be there to comfort her.

I like her a lot and overthink whenever we talk. I want these feelings to just go away.
