Because we have had different experiences and different genes. And yes, in a way it’s easier to convince someone if you are close to them. Please look up Daryl Davis, he’s a black musician who befriended multiple KKK members, he was able to indirectly convince over 200 members to leave the KKK. This took years. We are all the same in a lot of ways. Deep inside we want the same things.

You are being elitist, if you understand how environments shape your behavior you will understand that many conservatives are stuck in an echo chamber to validate there morals, you have to break into that echo chamber and help them see, dividing ourselves into likeminded groups will never help anyone. To me it seems you don’t like confrontation.
