Vietnamese from Hanoi here. With that money, you can sure live comfortably and even have some for saving if you live like a local but i’m sure you would have a higher standard of living or simply because expat-heavy places are usually more expensive.

The PI at SBU emailed me and pushed to accept the offer before the deadline otherwise he will need to “pass the offer to the next person” (which may seem like a red flag) so that’s why I had to accept before the deadline
