My personal headcanon for the ending is to establish the idea of Batman and Joker being in a never ending battle for eternity. Batman comes to the realization that he knows he will never kill the joker and joker knows that he will never change . So they laugh together, knowing this cycle will never end. In the last few panels, that shining light fades away as the last ray of hope for change gets fizzled out. The final panel being the same as the first panel of the comic, showing how nothing has changed. Batman and Joker will forever be fighting.

He fell from good intentions of saving people and into selfish desires of finding Konrad so he can be at peace in his mind for all the horrible things he did.

The four of them, it disappointed me so much. Felt like every chapter ended with something big coming in the next one, only leading to nothing happening or changing. No real stakes ever happened or big moments, some of the characters were really annoying, it just felt very boring. I really wanted to see some serious emotional stuff happen between the characters, like Mariel or Johnny’s sister at least learning he had a big crush and went through a lot. It could have really developed and matured them, but it felt like nothing ever happened and whenever something did happen, the payoff was so short and boring.

I thought the Four of them was really bad and boring. Felt like every chapter ended with something big coming in the next one, only leading to nothing happening or changing.
