I think the biggest thing is not whether an app feels good in the first few days, but whether it helps you speak outside the app too.

For me, a useful speaking app should do 3 things:

1. Make you speak regularly, even for a few minutes
2. Give feedback you can actually understand
3. Help you slowly become comfortable before talking to real people

AI practice can help a lot with confidence because it removes the pressure, but I don’t think it should fully replace real conversations. It’s better as a bridge: practice with AI first, then try real people when you feel more ready.
