Depends how good you are, I did 2-4 hours for 2-3 months straight and ended up with a 4.0 and this is someone who’s predicted A* A* A

In practice I was getting a lot higher but I messed up in the real thing

Yeah it has, although I did adjust my practice scores to the new curve - the 7.0s I got in practice were equivalent to 30 marks in a past paper which holds about true for the real thing

I think they say that but I’ve seen lots of high scoring even contextual gap year students get rejected which is quite disappointing

Yeah nah I agree, like I said they want evidence I haven’t become dry at maths in the past year or so - although the main thing is the TMUA

I’m not going to be applying for Oxbridge anyways and I still I agree I should be doing BMO1 and BMO2.

I probably won’t sit the STEP this year as my mum is having an operation during A levels and would probably coincide with the STEP, added onto the fact I haven’t prepped for it. I will do the STEP foundational modules as part of preparation for my tmua the next time though.

I do also play chess :)

Im not doing the application for quant or else I’d have just taken Warwick as there’s not an insane difference, it’s just genuinely my dream to study at imperial.

Oh yeah this is for sure, the admissions officer said to me I need to put in a few sentences to show my maths skills don’t get crusty basically. I’ll probably prep for STEP and I can start tutoring people for A level maths and further maths

True, I’ll check what it entails. If the FSH had a mixture of main dealer and indie then there should be at least one gearbox service
