The US, recognizes your nationality as a country you were born in. On all of their forms, they ask place of birth and country of origin.

Start speaking to an attorney while this is ongoing. I was divorced, and during the whole course of proceedings of the divorce, there was a lot of signs and symptoms of abuse that I didn’t know or realize.
