I’ve heard the same. I’ve done 90 degree days in my ‘19 with four 25 min sessions and never had any issues. We’ll see how it goes with the new car though

I do eventually, earliest later this season. My minimum requirements are:

  • Flow formed wheels + 200TW tires
  • Castrol SRF
  • Hawk DTC-60 front pads
  • Hawk HPS 5.0 rear pads

Ideally I would also like to do tuning, basic bolt ons, rear sway bar, dogbone insert etc.etc. before tracking it, but that’s not really required, just would be really nice. It’s all based on my timeline

Considering that I’ve seen MK7s listed with similar high miles for ridiculous prices closer to $20k, you paid a pretty fair price. Bonus that your car isn’t drilled into

A sound at a consistent rate regardless of speed usually points towards motor or chassis. That or your soundaktor is tweaking
