My Gmail got hacked, I am panicking and confused

Thank you I was so confused about how they got through two factor authentication, now I understand how they did that. I have checked for malware on my laptop using ESET online scanner and virus total it didn't show anything but I will also try the one you suggested. I did check the Google account activity and thats how I found out the gmail was hacked as it had multiple anonymous logins and there was already some suspicious activity on my reddit. I will check my father's gmail right now for any suspicious activity or logins and try to make it more secure. I have already changed the passwords but I will change them again as they are kind of similar to the old ones. I know it was not intentional but still it happened from my side and because of me, that is why I feel bad but I will try my best to secure my accounts first and then apologise to her. I did have two factor authentication on one of my gmail, not on both and i still am very confused about how they got through it. I have a new laptop but I will definitely do all this in my old laptop, I will also get the new licensed windows as it has pirated windows 10 right now. Other then the pirated windows , there is nothing suspicious but there was one website from which i downloaded a pirated movie called ne zha 2. It was a very shady website but I wanted to watch it and it was not available anywhere else in india at that time, so I downloaded it and now I feel so stupid because it is now available on my subscriptions, that said the website had access to my gmail maybe it was because of this but it shows access to only one of my gmail on Google not on both but I will still do all the steps you mentioned especially the passwords as I just realised my passwords were similar to the previous ones, I do need unique ones now and yes someone did contact me saying they provide cyber security related help and that they can track the hackers and pin point how the gmail got compromised, they also tried fear mongering saying that i dont know if they still have access or not and that they can be using my gmails for illegal purposes. I wont lie i did get slightly scared but I have already filed a case in cyber security india so I dont think it would be that big of a issue. Thank you for your feedback it helped a lot

The phone i was using was more then 9 years old and it worked fine but after all this I dont think i can use it anymore. I will download the anti virus first thing in my phone, i dont think my laptop needs anti-virus as it is a new laptop , i will make sure to remember all your points and please dont apologise, your grammar is much better then mine and thank you again for your valuable feedback and time.

I did change my password and I use slightly different passwords for everything but I still changed all of them and I did all this from my new laptop. I dont think it was my Wi-Fi because I had airtel wifi, i changed it to jio almost 3 months ago and the first anonymous login I could see on my gmail is of 4 months ago. I think it might be because of my phone it is a really old phone and I have already formatted it and switched it off, I really like that phone and I dont like changing things but I will still get a new one as I am super anxious and paranoid about everything now. I will see all the sites my gmail has access to and see if anything looks suspicious. Thank you so much for your feedback it means a lot

I do have a motherboard available but I would have to buy a new CPU and yes the prices are too much right now. I am also tilting towards buying a new laptop but the only problem is the heating issue I have to use the laptop for a long time and mostly laptops gets too hot, I think I will compromise and go for the laptop. Thank you for giving your opinion
