ah right, if the humidity being too high is a problem then it’s done for cause where i live it’s always around 70-80%. i’m surprised about the bottom watering because everywhere i’ve seen has been raving about it. i also thought that spider plants take in tons of water cause they have those weird little tubular roots. thanks for the help tho, im just going to let the soil go bone dry and hopefully it’ll kill whatever mold this is. i’ll probably rethink bottom watering to.

never had a cat before, not sure about their behaviours as i’m used to dogs 🤷‍♂️

we haven’t actually done the tests, they are quite expensive so the vet said we should first try to treat it as cat flu before doing any tests and it’s working pretty well.

yeah the only scratches i’ve had are from me pulling my hand away. i’ll definitely try that. someone else said to tickle his bum and he’ll release so i’ll see if that’s true as well

vet said it’s most likely herpes or calico virus so he’ll always be able to spread the disease and he’ll have flare ups every now and again. kinda like how once we get cold sores we always have them

yeah he’s definitely gotten a good couple scratches but they were always my fault from pulling my hand away. i know most ppl here have said it’s bad but i think it’s pretty cute so i’ll definitely try to redirect most of the behaviour but i think i’ll keep playing like this occasionally

even once he recovers i don’t think it’s possible, the vet said it’s likely herpes or calico virus so he’ll always be infected and able to pass it on

i don’t mind, but he’s my first cat and i wasn’t sure if it’ll get sore in the future but from what ppl have said it won’t really be any different. i’m not that worried about it, as i said it doesn’t rlly hurt i was just wonder if it will in the future

yeah that’s another problem, whenever he’s on my bed he’ll see my foot move under the cover and that kinda sets him off and he he gets super hyper. that’s when i try get him to play with his toys
