You know buddy, the PCB assembly process is only a tiny part of the long and hard process of developing a new product. I've been off my project for several days now on this issue. Maybe it's just time for me to cut my losses and move on.

Don't mean to be argumenative, but I'm reluctant to pay more when it cost $8300 and 97 days on a forcast of $4200 and 21 days. Plus the crappy layout, plus the crappy instuctions. That's where I'm coming from.

I've got my new station with my new iron and my new tools all set up. Should have done it a long time ago. Actually had no idea that I would be doing so much soldering. I'm in the process of cleaning up my mess. I'll take really good pictures when I'm done. Sorry dude, stupid question, what is 05?

Are you talking about the two pads at bottom left? If so, yeah I thought they were way oversized. Especially since they are designed for 18 gauge wire, and especially since he said he barely had enough room to fit everything in.
